City of Donaldsonville Yard Decorating Contest

On December 5, the City of Donaldsonville is once again hosting it’s annual holiday yard decorating competition. This year, the competition will be slightly different and include the offer 1st place certificate and $100 2nd certificate and $50, and 3rd place certificate and $25 in the following categories, Yard decoration and Yard Inflatables. The deadline to enter is December 8 by 5pm. Judging will take place on Friday, December 9th at 6pm with final awards to be announced at the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Stroll on the Square on December 10 from 6pm – 9pm in Louisiana Square. The winner does not need to be present to be awarded. To enter your yard, email lee@visitdonaldsonville.org and specify your name, address, phone number, email address and whether you are participating in the yard décor or yard inflatables category.
