Donaldsonville DDD Launches Donaldsonville Downtown Live Events

The Donaldsonville Downtown Development District has announced its 2022 season of Donaldsonville Downtown Live at Crescent FREE music in the park series. Bands take the stage on the first Saturday of the month from April through July and begin at 6pm and conclude at 9am. Visitors to the park are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and refreshements. No glass or pets please. There are no vendors for these events, so visitors are welcome to bring their own food and beverages for these events. The 2022 season is as follows: April 2 -  da Mello Band, May -  7 Party at Joes, June 4 - Larry Neal and the Neal Brother's Blues Band, and July 2 -  Austin Cedotal and DJ Up All Nite and the Michael Foster Project. July 2 will also be the City's Independence Day Festival which is traditionally held on July 3, but because this year the date falls on a Sunday, the Commission has decided to host the event on July 2.
