9. DISCUSS AND CALL FOR A VOTE
ORDINANCE 2019-14

WHEREAS the Donaldsonville Council desires to amend
Ordinance 2017-A-1, an ordinance implementing a program
where retirees, who have reached the age of fifty-five (55)
years old, from the city’s employment will have an opportunity
to remain on the city’s group health insurance until they reach
a certain age or retain other full time employment with benefits
and the City of Donaldsonville shall pay fifty(50) percent of the
employee cost of health insurance for said employees; to
provide an effective date and to provide other matters.
