Fraud Notice - Report Suspected Fraud to Legislative Auditors Site
CITY OF DONALDSONVILLE NOTICE OF FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND NOTICE OF INTENT TO REQUEST RELEASE OF FUNDS
On or about March 20, 2023 the City of Donaldsonville will submit a request to the Louisiana State Office of Community Development for the release of Community Development Block Grant funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (PL 93-383, as amended, to undertake a project known as CDBG-CV Love Louisiana Outdoors Program for the purpose of creating a covid-safe, outdoor, accessible, and engaging playground for the citizens of Donaldsonville with special emphasis on handicap/disabled persons and those will learning disabilities that welcomes youth of all ages including interactive, engaging, and learning-enabled apparatus and other leisure playground equipment supported by HUD Grant Funds estimated up to $400,000.00 with additional funds provided by the City of Donaldsonville estimated up to $60,000.00. The project is site specific and is owned and managed by the City of Donaldsonville and is known as Crescent Park Playground located at 337 Mississippi Street (Veterans Memorial Drive) directly across from Crescent Park in the City of Donaldsonville.
FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT
ii. The City of Donaldsonville has determined that the project will have no significant impact on the human environment. Therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) is not required. Additional project information is contained in the Environmental Review Record (ERR) on file at the City of Donaldsonville City Hall at 609 Railroad Avenue and may be examined or copied weekdays from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Friday.
