MBECA Small Business Classes Starting Soon!

REGISTER NOW for the upcoming 2021 entrepreneurship training course. Our course is scheduled to begin on in September (exact date TBA) at 6pm and will be conducted via video conference. As you all know, this course is 7 weeks (one night per week). The orientation for this program will be held on either August 18 or August 25.

MBECA is also enrolling for its annual Small Business Owner Roundtable (Video) Click here for more information. The orientation for the program is scheduled for Wednesday, August 11 at 6pm via zoom conference.The first roundtable will begin at the end of August and will be conducted via web conference for the first two workshops and face to face. Seats are limited so apply now.

Participants must be certified in the Louisiana Economic Development’s Small & Emerging Business Development Program to be eligible for enrollment. If you’ve already done this and I have your five digit number, please skip the next step.

Please let us know which dates you’d like to attend for either program, although it’s ok if you participate in all!

You will be directed to the Louisiana Department of Economic Development to get certified as a Small & Emerging Business. Once you are certified, please email your number at mbeca@mbeca.org. The certification will only take about 20 minutes. It’s not a big deal so don’t feel like you need hours to do this.
